BMW propone una moto esclusiva per celebrare i 50 anni della divisione M thumbnail

BMW M 1000 RR special edition for the 50th anniversary of the M division

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of its M division, BMW presented the new special edition of the BMW M 1000 RR 50 years M. Founded in 1972, the BMW M GmbH division, later born as BMW Motorsport GmbH, has become one of the most recognizable symbols for lovers of high-performance vehicles.

The thing that stands out most easily in this more exotic variant of the Munich super sports car is its color. The BMW M 1000 RR 50 Years M has the aerodynamic fairings painted in what the brand defines “San Paolo Yellow”. A bold color option that certainly defines the aggressive lines of the M 1000 RR more directly, a bike that in itself does not go unnoticed.

However, the new BMW M 1000 RR 50 Years M is not just a special version that is distinguished solely by its color.

In fact, the new BME bike has factory equipment that leaves no room for doubt: this is it a bike that celebrates performance.

And this statement takes shape with the use of the M Competition Package, but also with the presence of several special components. Among these is the package M carbon, the anodized aluminum swingarm and even lighter, the code to access the M GPS telemetry. But the more attentive to detail will be happy to know that the maintenance-free M Endurance drive chain has been installed.

It should also be noted that this exclusive model is delivered with components for use on the road with a passenger (saddle and footrest). In the endowment, however, there is also the standard seat cover that allows it to transform into a single-seater, thus assuming the appearance of a real racing bike like the one used in the Superbike World Cup.

As for the engines, the model is still powered by a 999c four-cylinder with 205 hp and 112 Nm of torque at 11,000 rpm. It is capable of going from 0 to 96km / h in less than 3.1 seconds and reaching a top speed of 304km / h.

Please note that this special bike can be ordered only between 21 May and 30 November 2022.
