The announcement was already scheduled for the month of March but some production problems have forced Apple to postpone the presentation. Some rumors expected their release today via press release but Apple has only announced the presentation event, scheduled for April 20.
Next Tuesday, at 19:00 local time, Apple will announce its new line of iPad Pro 11 and 12.9 ”in live streaming on its website and on its YouTube channel. However, these will not be the only protagonists of the next Apple Event. Let’s find out everything Apple is expected to announce next week.
Apple event April 20: iPad Pro 11 and 12.9 “
The new iPad Pro line is certainly one of the most anticipated. The aesthetic novelties compared to the current model will be, according to what has emerged in recent months, almost nil. The new iPad Pro 2021 will in fact maintain the same design of the 2018 line, with full-screen display, Face ID, square frames and dual-lens photographic module accompanied by the LiDAR sensor. The news will all be under the hood. The next line of iPad Pro should indeed arrive with a new one A14X processor, with performance comparable to that of the current M1 e 5G connectivity for the WiFi + Cellular model. It is also expected the arrival of a display with technology Mini LED, however, according to rumors, reserved only for the model from 12.9”. Together with the new iPad Pro they should also arrive the Third generation Apple Pencil a new Magic Keyboard with 2nd Generation Trackpad.
AirTag, iPad mini e iOS 14.5
Together with the aiPad Pro line and related accessories, Apple could finally announce, almost a year later than expected, its AirTag. The Made by Apple GPS tracker could in fact arrive next week at a price of around 50$. A new generation of iPad mini which, however, according to what has emerged in recent weeks, it will not have any aesthetic changes compared to the current model. No full screen display or Touch ID on the power button, the sixth generation iPad mini will have the iconic Home button.
From a software perspective, Apple is also expected to release the stable version of iOS and iPadOS 14.5, currently in beta testing. Among the main innovations is the unlocking iPhone via Apple Watch when wearing the mask (for models with Face ID) and the new one Find My Network to track third-party devices in the Find My app.
