Square-Enix’s sixteenth fantasy shows off in a new trailer: Final Fantasy XVI closes the State of Play with a release period

[…] In the game, the protagonist Clive Rosfield will adopt the arsenal guaranteed to him by the many Eikons ”. These creatures, or the classics invocations in the isolated context of this chapter, they will in turn give rise to epic confrontations “that will get you right in the middle of the action.” The development, under the direction of Hiroshi Takaihas now come to the last finishing touches.
Yoshida did not fail to sing the praises of PS5encouraging us to “fasten your seat belts” after the pandemic took the development back nearly six months. Telework has led to problems in the timing of outsourcing for some assets, but 2021 was dedicated to getting everything back on track. Now that Square-Enix is putting the finishing touches to the cutscene, battle system, graphics and so on, we also have an actual release period.
