The Sandboxa leading decentralized virtual gaming world and a subsidiary of Animoca Brandsannounced the collaboration with the incubator NFT of Kiev Ikonia to bring into the metaverse the mural celebrating the icon of Italian football Andrea Pirlo, located at number 188 Lafayette Street in New York.
The mural of 15 × 6 meterspainted by the famous street artist italiano Joritis sold as NFT in unique edition: the piece will be totally unique and exclusive for the owner. Entitled The Hero NFTallows the buyer to own the real mural for one year, in addition to the perpetual digital rights on the street art work.
Ikonia recreated together with MetaLabs a stretch of Lafayette Street, including Jorit’s Pirlo mural, in The Sandbox, allowing for enthusiasts and fans of the world champion to walk along the digital road and admire the mural.
