June rhymes with leak: the new trailer blurs, sorry, “flaunts” Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and related details, including open beta
There is nothing to do: the state of solicitude and salivation of gamers makes the month of June fertile ground for leakand now we have a trailer from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Or rather, we would like to specify: we have a very, very blurry video in which the shooter peeps out. Today we should expect the HD version straight from the source, but as ten in the morning on the west coast translates to seven in the evening for us we allow ourselves to echo the tweet of Jamie Evans for a small preview. The hasty cat may not have made blind kittens this time, but she has certainly made them myopic.
Focus (s): Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 trailer arrives two hours early
In addition to showing Task Force 141, the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 trailer at the center of the leak allows us to “peek” at other aspects of the (somewhat “spoiled”) Activision shooter. The team also shows off on board motorboats, intent on reaching an oil platform. The quest then gives way to the gameplay of nighttime combat in the claustrophobic corridors, while the “need for an army” echoes. The juiciest thing (with all due respect to the editor who will have to talk about the full trailer), however, is another. There open beta will be done, and will be included with pre-orders.

In a move that sounds almost paradoxical in light of the Activision acquisition, however, it will not be the Xbox user who will be able to afford a taste. This honor is in fact reserved for players its PS4 and PS5, as the recent datamining indicates. The game is scheduled for October 28 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, PC and, of course, PS4 and PS5. The look at the gameplay has eluded the first presentation trailer, but the title will peek at the Summer Game Fest showcase. Which leads us, of course, to “stay tuned”. We will not fail to do so, while the summer flood of announcements will overwhelm us in full.
