Rejoice: In a report published on Try Hard Guides, a rumor luscious about a new version of the DualSense from PS5 closest to the definition of Pro Controller. What makes the corridor voice appetizing, as always, is the uvula from which it comes: in this case, the golden one of a insider established as Tom Henderson. New hardware awaits us at the end of the month, and here the key word is hardware. No new consoles on the horizon (and thank goodness, ed), then, but mostly a response to the Elite pad of the jade competition.

Therefore Pro Controller is not to be understood as we are used to understanding it on Switch, but as an invitation to open the wallets that PS5 players in possession of DualSense will learn about. The buttons below the analog levers can allow users to remove them for replacement, in order to combat drifting on an equal footing. Henderson also claims to have seen the prototype, with “significant” annexes firmware updates.

Nor is it the only late-June rumor for Sony (or in general). The sapphire titan, apparently, will confirm a definitive release date for before July God of War Ragnarok. Since it would be news of not insignificant caliber, it is believed that the announcement of new hardware is the most appropriate place to reveal a new peripheral. Sony, for its part, is still fresh from State of Play, so we can’t really comment on the veracity of Henderson’s words. As is now a sad tradition for those who inform about (and live) video games, we can only be patient.
