AMD has announced the new contest AMD Design Award 2022, aimed at computer graphics artists. Today, AMD challenges creators to plan for the future 8 years of our planet according to the Sustainable Development Goals outlined by the United Nations and to share a sustainable project. Through this competition, AMD’s mission is to accelerate the development of the arts community by providing creators with next-generation computing experiences. The goal is that they encourage them to express themselves freely and to produce innovative and high quality content. AMD Design Award 2022 offers numerous opportunities to learn new skills, express yourself, make a difference in the world and win great prizes.
Details on the AMD Design Award 2022
There are four categories that allow you to stimulate the imagination of the participants. Among these we have Eco-cities, Life on land, Life below water e Metaverse. The conditions of the contest are few and very simple. It is necessary to submit an original digital work created using any 2D and 3D graphics software and some work-in-progress projects. The project must highlight the best artistic and technical skills of the artisttell a compelling story and produce a strong emotional response.
The works will be judged on composition, color, idea, texture, technique and attention to detail. The winners in each category will be selected by a prestigious jury made up of prominent social and environmental activists. Among these we have Arto SivonenFounder and Creative Director at Måndag and a member of the board of advisors at Helsinki Design Week. Ed ancora Masha VorontsovaRegional Director of International Fund for Animal Welfare, and Marta Waydel, Co-Founder of iKLEID, expert in sustainability, fashion innovation and Metaverse.

Participants can register and submit their project from 15 June to 15 September 2022 and the selection will take place between June 15 and September 30, 2022.
