After a successful launch in 2020, Fall Guys is now preparing to go free-to-play, which means it will be free for console and PC. To celebrate the event, Mediatonic is preparing to launch the Stagione 1: Free for All, which will coincide with the free-to-play release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch and PC. This will introduce a new Season Pass as well as optimizations for new-gen consoles (with faster loading times, especially on PS5).
A big news will also affect PC users, who will now be able to download the game for free from Epic Games Store, while the paid title will be removed from Steam. Mediatonic also confirmed that the game will feature cross-play and cross-progression. This means that you will now be able to form a party with your friends no matter what platform they are playing on.
Fall Guys will be free from 2pm tomorrow (June 21)
Players will be able to download the cute Battle Royale for free from 2:00 pm Italian on 21 June 2022. Plus, with the re-release of Season 1, you can get your hands on the Legacy Pack. This includes i Veggie Dog, Feisty Dwarf and Regal costumes plus nickname, nameplate and Season Pass for the first season.
Along with the new Season Pass, Mediatonic also introduces a new in-game currency: Show Bucks. Players who are also pre-registered will also receive a number of exclusive rewards.
