The study, commissioned by Plan International e McLaren Automotive, was published on the occasion of the International Day of Women in Engineering. Her goal is to emphasize the importance of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) careers for girls.

The research also found that the 75% of female students are interested in a STEM career; however, over 27% said she was concerned about not be totally up to it to learn this type of subject.

McLaren presented the research while the 14-year-old Amelie, a Plan International activist and a STEM enthusiast, unveiled a exclusive design ed McLaren Artura hybrid supercar original.
