Rumors continue to crowd for a Nintendo Direct: now Tom Henderson talks about a showcase partner with whom to end the month
We just had a Nintendo Direct all dedicated to Xenoblade Chronicles 3, but not the wheel of the gods rumor hints at losing hits: the latest rumor that is heating up the web concerns a potential partner showcase scheduled for this week. We have all come to love (or, in some cases, hate) presentations dedicated solely to supporting third parties in times of pandemics. It is precisely the prospect of a roundup of this type that makes its way, which leads us to think that it is simply material originally conceived for only one major Direct in June.
The return of Tom Henderson and the rumors: Nintendo Direct to be understood as an upcoming showcase partner?
During a recent live show, the publisher Nacho Requena at the head of the Spanish newspaper Manual declared himself “aware” of an upcoming Nintendo Direct, however, considering it “only” a showcase partner: being a rumor, we invite you to be cautious. Requena alluded to a focus on Persona, although the series has already been on the crest of the wave recently with the announcement of its arrival on Xbox. The other rumors on the eligible announcements concern “a title seen elsewhere for four years now,” which makes Red Dead Redemption 2 the most fitting hypothesis. Assuming this is all true, of course.
It sounds like there’s a mini direct focusing on third part games – https://t.co/U9Iable9gC
What I was referring to here as “something then” is Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope gameplay reveal. https://t.co/qFWWhXZxrn

Where there are rumors, there usually is too Tom Henderson. As you can see above, according to the insider, a reveal of the gameplay of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. As evidenced by the frequent (and generous) discounts of the predecessor Kingdom Battle on the eShop, the game technically counts as a third-party title under the Mario license. With its release window (2022) still constant, rumors surrounding this specific game have framed the upcoming winter as a possible time for release. In that sense, Ubisoft’s promise to release the crossover by the end of the fiscal year does little to deflect suspicion.
