Commasa company of the Stellantis group, has announced its commitment to developing solutions in the field of hydrogen energy. In fact, the company is collaborating with several customers in various parts of the world with the aim of automating the production of fuel cells and electrolysers. Comau’s goal is to ensure a progressive reduction in production costs (up to 20%), thus supporting the spread of hydrogen as a solution for zero-emission mobility.
Comau renews its commitment to the development of solutions in the hydrogen energy sector
The company is working to facilitate the creating reliable, zero-emission energy. Comau aims to develop a range of proprietary solutions to automate the key stages of the production process. Among the ongoing collaborations regarding hydrogen energy, Comau is working with SHPT, leading company in the sector and controlled by SAIC Motor. There is a pilot project underway to manufacture electrolysers in the EMEA region and other opportunities in Oceania. Comau, based on estimates linked to IEA and IHS data, believes that the use of hydrogen will double over the next decade thanks to sectors such as mobility and energy storage.
