The new ones AirPods Pro 2 they won’t come with a built-in heart rate and body temperature sensor, at least according to Mark Gurman. The Bloomberg expert, in fact, stated that it is unlikely that the new earphones can arrive on the market with these characteristics. Too early, apparently, for such an advanced option.
AirPods Pro 2: The earbuds won’t have built-in health sensors
“In recent months, there have been rumors that this year’s model has gained the ability to determine the wearer’s heart rate or body temperature. I was told that neither feature is likely to arrive in the 2022 update, although both improvements have been explored within the company and may come someday. ” Like this Mark Gurman denied one of the most widespread rumors regarding Apple’s new wireless earbuds. According to the Bloomberg expert, in fact, the AirPods Pro 2 will not have temperature and heart rate sensors. And this could represent a considerable disappointment for Apple fans.
Just last month, in fact, 52Audio had reported that the new earphones of the Cupertino company would be able to measure body temperature from inside the ear. And not only. As announced, the new AirPods Pro would also have a port USB-Cand chip H1 updated and the “Find My” functionality. As you can imagine, however, there is nothing confirmed by the company. What’s interesting, anyway, is that Apple hasn’t added any updates to the Pro model of the earbuds since 2019. And this could really be the right time.
