The price of Meta Quest 2 will increase starting next August 1st. The company has announced an upward price adjustment of the VR headset for all markets in which it is marketed. Also in Italy, therefore, it will be necessary to deal with the new increase announced today by Meta. Here are the details regarding today’s announcement:
Meta increases the price of Quest 2
The costs to be incurred for the company that pass these increases on to consumers increase. This time it’s up to Meta to adopt this scheme with its Quest 2. The company has announced the increase in these hours. The viewer, in fact, will increase in price starting from next August.
For the Italian market there will be a increase of 100.99 euros. The increase affects both variants of the VR headset. The model from 128 GB will be available with a price of 449,99 euro (compared to the previous price of 349 euros). Also note the price increase for variant dto 256GB which will now be marketed with a price of 549,99 euro compared to the current 449 euros.
The price increase comes without changes to the hardware compartment of the device. This is an adjustment linked to the increase in costs that the company incurs for its viewer. We will be seeing what the market reaction will be.
