In a tweet published yesterday (August 29) the 2K developer announced that the first game of the popular Mafia franchise, released in 2002, it will become free on PC on the occasion of the 20 years of the saga. Users will be able to download the title for free on Steam, but only for a few days in September.
And that’s not all, because the Hangar 13 team (the same one that developed Mafia 3 and Mafia: Definitive Edition) announced that work on a new chapter of the franchise would already have begun. It is currently unclear whether Mafia 4 will be a standalone video game or a sequel to any of the games in the trilogy.
