Samsung renews its range of memories with the launch of the new SSD 990 PRO. It is a very high performance NVMe drive that takes advantage of the PCIe 4.0 standard to ensure users read and write speeds at the top of the market.

The new Samsung 990 Pro SSD offers users one sequential read and write speeds up to 7,450 megabytes per second (MB / s) and 6,900 MB / s, respectively. The random read and write speeds instead, they reach 1,400K and 1,550K IOPS. Also noteworthy is its high energy efficiency, 50% higher than the 980 Pro model.
The new memory arrives on the market in two versions. The model from 1 TB of storage space, in fact, is available at a price of 189,99 euro while the model from 2 TB can count on a price of 349,99 euro. In the future, a version with 4 TB of storage space is also expected to be launched by the end of the year.
