BERLIN – On the occasion of the new edition of IFA 2022the German consumer electronics fair, Lenovo has announced a lot of news in laptops, monitors and a new awaited generation of ThinkPad Fold. But let’s not waste any more time and find out the many innovations from Lenovo announced at IFA 2022.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold da 16″
The generation of ThinkPad Fold, born in 2020, is enriched with a new and powerful device with the 16 ″ ThinkPad X1 Fold. Having already gained a reputation as the world’s lightest 16 ″ portable business device, this new generation wants to raise the bar even more with an even lighter yet versatile and powerful device.

Based on Intel vPro and Intel Evo Design with Intel Core i7 processors up to 12th generation and Intel Iris Xe graphics, the new generation ThinkPad X1 Fold offers excellent performance while sporting, once again, the foldable format. The addition of SSD storage up to 1TB2 and memory options up to 32GB LPDDR5 mean that Windows 11 Home or Pro will perform brilliantly no matter what mode of use you choose.
The next-generation ThinkPad X1 Fold features an optional full-sized backlit ThinkPad keyboard with TrackPoint and a large haptic touchpad. The keyboard can be magnetically attached to the PC or not, depending on the need of the moment. The lower half of the dasplay in laptop mode offers the experience of a 12 ″ laptop. More screen real estate translates into greater versatility needed for hybrid jobs. The ultra-bright foldable OLED panel is 16.3 inches with a 4: 3 aspect ratio and offers maximum space in a lightweight format, with the versatility to be oriented in portrait, landscape or folded mode.

The size shouldn’t be deceiving though as the laptop boasts high durability surpassing MIL-STD-810H standard standards to maximize device durability and reliability. The high-performance 100% recycled fabric cover has also undergone extensive durability and reliability tests.
The next-generation ThinkPad X1 Fold with Windows 11 will be available in the US starting November 2022 for $ 2,499. Yet we do not know when it will be available in Italy or how much it will cost.
Lenovo Glasses T1 a IFA 2022
At IFA 2022, Lenovo also announced the new Lenovo Glasses T1 (known as Lenovo Yoga Glasses in China), the new wearable display for consuming content on the go. Compatible with many modern smartphones, tablets and laptops, Lenovo T1 glasses offer exceptional image quality, ultra-high-output optics for longer battery life, all in an attractive, lightweight design.
The Lenovo Glasses T1 are designed for entertainment and gaming but also for hybrid work, which is increasingly widespread. In fact, professionals from different sectors work more and more often from mobile devices, but having to consult private and critical documents for their business on a PC in public spaces creates risks. With Lenovo Glasses T1, we will have a private workspace to protect our documents!

Among the novelties of Lenovo this year we find the new Lenovo Tab P11 and its second generation Pro version.
