Assassin’s Creed: won’t Mirage be an open world? Here’s what we know
The rumors of a new chapter in the popular Assassin’s Creed saga (the franchise we told you the story of here) date back to February, when Ubisoft announced that a new video game would see the light between late 2022 and early 2023. However, the official title arrived only this week: Mirage.
Bloomberg reports, according to anonymous sources, that Mirage, codenamed Rift, will see Basim as the protagonist, a character already seen in Assassin’s Creed: Valhall. The same source also stated that the new game, unlike the previous ones, “It will not be a huge open world RPG” but “will focus more on the stealth approach”.
