Time passes slowly in the distant land cracked and parched dell’Bolivian Altiplano, more than 3,500 meters above sea level. An elderly Quechua couple of llama breeders, Virginia e Left over, they are the only ones to carry on a humble routine. When their grandson arrives Clever, Virginio immediately perceives that he is only there to persuade them to move to the city. The persistent drought and the lack of water, afflicts him more and more.
But a strange omen begins to make its way into him. Suddenly, time becomes more precious than ever, putting the couple in a dilemma: stay and wait for heavy rains or follow in the footsteps of other Quechua and leave their home for the city?
The human cost and the weight of climate change, in a mix dthe charm and rawness in one of the most vulnerable territories. As stated by director Alejandro Loayza-Grisi:
