Blizzard today announced the first major update for Diablo Immortal, the Action RPG MMO released in June for mobile and PC. The update will bring with it several new features including a new expedition and numerous in-game items.

The Brigades will now find a home in Cryangar Castle, an ancient fortress that will replace the Brigade Camps. In addition, adventurers will have to contend with a new fighter with a decidedly disturbing nickname: the Deforme.

When the Diablo Immortal update comes out

The new update will arrive on September 28th and will be available on all platforms. Below are the main news of the update:

  • A new expedition
  • The quests of the Silent Monastery will continue
  • Introduction of Cyrangar Castle (which will replace the Brigade Camps, introducing new elements into the game)
  • Individual powers in Epura
  • Ancestral Weapons (which will be obtained by taking part in the Epura and Defense of Cyrangar events)
  • New boss of the Inferiquary: Izilech the Deforme. This is the fifth boss, and will arrive in game from 2 October.
  • A set of items called the Cupa Driving Prizewhich relies on Swift’s abilities to terrify enemies.

In addition, from 29 September, the Battle Pass of Season 5: Descendants of the Storm. This includes updated challenges, rewards, and new cosmetic items.
