Just under a month to go Round One 2022third appointment of the event dedicated to the world of eSports promoted by IDEAto be held at the OGR Turin from 25 to 26 October. Among the novelties announced today there is a new editorial trend, which will overwhelm the event with debates and initiatives. In particular we speak of Educationwith activities aimed primarily at university students.
The new program thanks to the partnership with UniCredit, former Gold Partner of Round One, and the support of OGR Torino and Fondazione CRT. Let’s find out what it is specifically.
Round One 2022: IIDEA announces the Education sector
Il new education editorial line was created with the aim of promoting the orientation of university students who are looking for a professional outlet in the panorama of competitive gaming (eSport). This will then be one of the 8 pillars of the event. The others are: Esports, Metaverse, Community, Tech, Sport, Creativity e Institution.
Specifically, the activities aimed at students will be concentrated on the day of Wednesday 26 October. Here are the announced appointments:
- From 09:30 to 10:30 in the Sala Fucine of OGR Turin: a session of “Conference”, inaugurated by Francesco “Deugemo” Lombardo of Esportsmag who will give an overview of the professions in the esports sector and the new skills required. A panel with Riot Games, PG Esports, ProGaming Italia, Exeed and 2Watch will follow with a focus on Publishing, Tournament Organization / Production and Team Management.
- From 10:45 am to 1:15 pm: a session called “Get on Board”, During which 15-minute roulette formula meetings will give students the opportunity to meet industry professionals e confront them on 10 Skill Tables: Team Management, Publishing, Event Organization & Production, Talent Management, Sales & Marketing, Communication & Social Media, Caster / Host, Streamer / Player, Branding & Graphic Design and Soft Skills. This session will be exclusively in the presence and reserved for 100 students selected from the University and Polytechnic of Turin.
Also, outside of the Education program, there will be a focus su Start Lab (UniCredit business platform dedicated to start-ups and innovation) open to all operators present at Round One 2022.
