Chromebook Cloud Gaming: the new models for the cloud arrive

Google has announced the arrival of a new series of Google Chromebook dedicated to Cloud Gamingthe online system that allows the use of video games on remote servers without the need for a console.

The new models arrive a few days after the company’s announcement of the closure of Google Stadia, the company’s cloud gaming service. However, apparently, this does not mean that Google is moving away from cloud video games but wants to offer ideal support to make the most of them. Let’s find out more!

The Chromebooks dedicated to Cloud Gaming are coming

Acer Chromebook 516 GE, il Lenovo Ideapad Gaming Chromebook and theASUS Chromebook Vibe CX55 Flip are the three models announced and offer useful specifications to make them the best media for cloud gaming. Even though Google Stadia has closed its doors, the new chromebooks will support other active cloud gaming services such as Xbox Cloud Gaming, Amazon Luna e Nvidia’s GeForce Nowpre-installed on new devices.

As for the technical specifications, particular attention was given to the processors and the connection capabilities of the chromebooks, fundamental characteristics for the success of a cloud session.
