Not really The Sims 5 but such a “Project Rene”
The announcement came towards the end of The Sims Summit, the first streaming event entirely dedicated to The Sims. In this sequence (from minute 26:50 on the video above), Lyndsay PearsonVice President of The Sims Creative Franchise Division, showed the first images of a new system of building and customizing the furniture of our Sims’ future homes that has never appeared before.
In the few seconds of video we can see a graphic style similar to that of The Sims 4 but at the same time renewed with a great amount of detail. Il The main focus was on the personalization of the objects, their shape, colors and meticulous details such as the presence of cushions on the sofa, the patterns, total freedom of positioning of the objects and so on. The creations will also be able to be shared with other players and even costruire cross-platform using a smartphone.
From the words of Lyndsay Pearson we read, “From the beginning, The Sims has defined life simulation games and has continued to grow to become an incredible platform for creativity and self-expression. Today begins our journey over the next few years as we work on the next game and creative platform, currently titled Project Rene. We’re building on the same foundation that made The Sims compelling for generations of players, and we’re pushing the boundaries to create new experiences. We will have much more to share as we continue to progress in the development of the game and in the milestones of our journey. “
When will Project Rene be available?
Unfortunately, the details end here and more will be disclosed in the coming months. EA also wanted to point out that Project Rene is still in an initial phase and it will be a long time before enjoying a full version.
