Still interesting news fromApps on Instagram. Just yesterday, in fact, a spokesperson for Meta announced that the platform is “testing the ability to program content on a percentage of the global community”. A feature that can be very useful for content creators and industry professionals. So let’s go find out something more.

Instagram: App tests content scheduling

As it stands, the Instagram App allows creators to schedule their live videos up to 90 days in advance. But the new feature being tested further expands this possibility, allowing all users to program the contents within the Feed. How? In a very simple and intuitive way, as the expert Matt Navarra also reports.

Once the post has been prepared – complete with tag, place and more -, just scroll to the “Advanced settings” item and select the “Schedule the post” option. At this point, choose the date and time publishing to see the online content whenever you like. In this way, Meta adds a useful option to creators who until now are programming their own content using third-party tools. But let’s remember that this is only a test. When we will see the option on the Instagram App, it is not yet clear.
