An independent study of Schneider Electric e Canalys reveals that the vast majority of partner of the company have invested in sustainability. Attention to the environment and people seems to be at the center of the strategies of at least three quarters of companies.

Canalys has published a study that detects investments in sustainability in 120 Schneider Electric partner companies in the field of sustainability. 75% of partners have resources dedicated to ESG issues. An attention that i customers they appreciate a lot, especially in the environmental field. So much so that 64% of companies say that customers’ environmental concerns guide their choices.
Beyond the 65% of companies already offer withdrawal programs for old and discarded hardware, to name just one of many activities. Rachel Brindley, Senior Director, Channels, Canalys, explains: “Our report shows that Partners are investing in their sustainability strategies, They are committed to reducing their own environmental impact and that of their customers. Partners are looking to the vendors they work with, asking them to support them in addressing these challenges, and they want to show that they are making important progress in terms of reducing carbon emissions. “
How to bet on the green
Schneider Electric explains that it is committed to helping its partners make a green turn on three levels:
- Strategystarting from an energy assessment and then offering dedicated tools and consultancy to translate environmental priorities into concrete
- Digitization, through Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure software, to optimize efficiency, carry out predictive maintenance. All tools to consume less (and save)
- Decarbonizationthrough electrification services, the possibility of reducing waste with Green Premium products, replacing energy sources with renewable resources and involving the entire supply chain.
David Terry, VP IT Channels di Schneider Electric Europe explains: “Given the growing focus on ESG engagements in the IT channel, now is the time for Partners to redouble their sustainability efforts and play a central role in reducing carbon emissions and waste. Energy optimization, energy efficiency, managed energy services represent key opportunities for Partners, allowing them to differentiate themselves and gain market share.
And he explains that ” as one of the most sustainable companies in the world, Schneider Electric is ideally placed to support its Partners, at any stage of their sustainability journey”.
