Good news for fans of the Mario Party franchise, who will now be able to (re) play two classic titles from the saga on Nintendo Switch. The two titles in question will be Mario Party and Mario Party 2, which will join the collection Nintendo 64.
The announcement comes from Nintendo itself, which with a tweet has made it known that the two games will arrive on Switch Online on November 2, 2022.
Mario Party and Mario Party 2: from 2 November on Nintendo Switch Online
Mario Party was released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999, and was the game that started the popular series. It is a party game for up to four players, who will have to face different challenges and over 56 minigames. You can play in both multiplayer and single player.
Mario Party 2 was released a year later, in 2000, again for Nintendo 64. The game is a kind of board game, and was the first chapter of the series to be translated into Italian.
Both games join the already rich Nintendo 64 collection, which includes iconic titles such as Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Star Fox 64, Banjo-Kazooie and many more Nintendo 64 classics.
Fans who want to get hold of the titles will need to have an active subscription to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. This gives access to online play and classic games for the NES, SNES, Nintendo 64 and Sega Mega Drive as well as various expansions for Switch titles.
