Through your own official Twitter accountNintendo confirmed that a new one will be held this week Indie World Showcase. The appointment, which will show us all the videogame news from the independent world coming to Nintendo Switch, will be held Wednesday 9 November at 18:00 Italian time.
What is the Nintendo Indie World Showcase
These Showcases, which focus on independent publishing and developers, they are not to be confused with Nintendo Direct. The latter is instead a high-profile event that arises as an appointment to preview some of the most anticipated titles from established publishers and triple A developers. The latest Nintendo Direct has in fact given us important updates on popular franchises. These include Fire Emblem and Pikmin. We also got a first look at the highly anticipated Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the sequel to the hugely successful Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
L’Indie World Showcase will last about 25 minutes, and will focus on smaller games, made by independent creators. To get an idea of what to expect, the latest Showcase (which took place in May) provided information on around 20 titles. Four of these came out by surprise on the day of the event. These are Gibbon: Beyond the Trees, Mini Motorways, Soundfall and Opus: Echo of Starsong: Full Bloom Edition.
