At Apple, development work for the new iPhone SE 4. The future entry level of the smartphone range of the Cupertino house should only debut at early 2024. The device is expected to be completely revamped compared to the third generation of the iPhone SE which still incorporates the design of the iPhone 8.

According to initial information on the new iPhone SE 4, Apple should radically change the design of its entry level. The new smartphone it will no longer be inspired by iPhone 8 but by iPhone XR and its successors. Basically, the front Home button will disappear and make room for a larger display and at the notch (with possible support for Face ID even if the Touch ID could remain with a lateral fingerprint sensor).
The display may be equal to 6.1 in diagonal even if the possibility that the company proposes a lower diagonal is not excluded. At the moment, a decision has not yet been made as to what panel technology it might be LCD o OLED. To manage the operation of the smartphone there should be the Apple A16 SoC with full 5G support. In the back there will also be one camera only.
