LIAN LI Industrial Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of PC chassis and accessories, announces LANCOOL 216, a case focused on airflow. Pre-installed with two 160mm PWM fans e one 140 mm, LANCOOL 216 offers excellent performance and can be configured for air cooling or AIO mode by lowering / raising the position of the motherboard. This case can balance the airflow and ensure better GPU cooling. This is because Lancool 216 includes a bracket for external PCIe fan which supports a 120mm fan to be mounted on the rear panel, in front of the expansion slots. The LANCOOL 216 is available in black with non-RGB front fans and in black or white with addressable RGB front fans.
Air and water cooling modes
To ensure the passage of a lot of air, LANCOOL 216 is equipped with a continuous fine mesh panel from front to top. It also has a side mesh panel to protect the power supply. Combined with 2 pre-installed 160mm PWM fans and 1 pre-installed 140mm PWM fan, the LANCOOL 216 guarantees excellent performance. For air cooling solutions, the rear I / O of the LANCOOL 216 can be flipped over and the motherboard spacers can be positioned higher in the main chamber. This makes it possible to install the 2 x 140mm fans above the power supply cover and at the top of the case. In water cooling mode, with a motherboard in the lower position, the top of the case can be equipped with a 360mm radiator for AIO or custom water cooling.
Additional air flow
In addition to the 140mm fan pre-installed on the back of the case, the LANCOOL 216 also supports an additional 120mm fan behind the expansion slots. The included PCIe fan bracket accessory can be used in air-cooled mode in conjunction with horizontal GPUs at the first expansion slot. Or, with vertical GPUs closer to the motherboard, without obstructing the GPU I / O and ensuring better cooling for the GPU and greater intake / exhaust balance for the system.
Ease of construction and easy access
The removable top radiator bracket opens the case to make it easier to install hardware in the main chamber. In the second bedroom, 5 velcro straps, clips and fixing points offer clear routing options for cable management. Finally, the drive cage in the power supply bay can be moved to accommodate front-mounted radiator / fan combinations. In this way it supports the mounting of 3.5 “HDD and 2.5” SSD simultaneously on both trays. The front panel I / O module can be moved to the lower left side of the front panel for easier access when the case is placed on a table.
