Thanks to the latest firmware update released today by Sony, users can now use the connection Bluetooth multipoint. This allows you to connect two devices LinkBuds (therefore LinkBuds and LinkBuds S) simultaneously: let’s see specifically how to do it.
First you will need to update the templates. The update, in addition to implementing the multipoint Bluetooth functionality, introduces some extra improvements. Let’s look specifically at the reference models.
LinkBuds (WF-L900): How to connect two devices at the same time
The update for LinkBuds (WF-L900) also adds the Audio Switching feature of Android and improves the stability of the Bluetooth connection. It also adds Auto Play app compatibility, adds compatible apps to Quick Access feature, and fixes not pairing error when Speak-to-Chat feature is on. Further improvements are related to general performance (improved), the Adaptive Volume Control system and the quality of hands-free calls.
To carry out the update, the device operating system must meet certain requirements: if Android, the Operating System must be 5.0 or later, while if iOS, version 11.0 or later). Devices will need to have the Sony | application version Headphones Connect (5.2.0 or later) already installed. The earphones will need to be connected to the device. After the update is complete, verify that the new version has been installed by following the procedure described in the section Verify the firmware version. If the version displayed is 2.0.2 then the upgrade was successful.

The update also brings the following benefits and improvements: compatibility with the Android Audio Changer function; fix an error that prevented playback of content from Spotify with Auto Play or Quick Access on iOS devices; general improvement in performance.
To download the update, it is recommended to check your operating system: Android (version 5.0 or later) or iOS (version 11.0 or later) for Apple devices. You will need to have the latest version of the Sony | application installed Headphones Connect (5.2.0 or later). The earphones will need to be connected to your Android or iOS device.
