A new month has begun and that means only one thing for video game enthusiasts: the new free games from Amazon Prime Gaming (eight for this December). The titles are all available starting now, free of charge, for all Amazon Prime subscribers.
Don’t you know what we’re talking about? Well, in case you’ve spent the last few years living under a rock and don’t know anything about exclusive Prime Gaming promotions, you might as well make a quick but juicy summary.

- free subscription to a Prime Gaming channel on Twitch;
- exclusive emoticons for use on Twitch;

As mentioned, there are 8 free games for December 2022, and they are:
- Banners of Ruin
- Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
- Desert Child
- Doors: Paradox
- Quake
- Ross Riddle 2: Werewolf Shadow

All games are redeemable directly from the appropriate Amazon Prime Gaming website, with two small exceptions. Don’t worry though: in both cases no purchase will be required.
We remind you that in addition to the December games, Prime Gaming also offers rewards, content and skins for numerous titles such as FIFA 23, League of Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, GTA Online, Fall Guys and many other games. Discover all the free rewards on the official website.
A first look at December’s free games
Banners of Ruin
Assemble your deck of cards to win the turn-based fights scattered across the city of Dawn’s Point. Each character (there are 6 of them) unlocks unique cards and abilities that can enrich your deck, make battles more exciting, and most importantly, help you win the war.
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
When fairy tale meets game: From Swedish visionary director Josef Fare, this title takes you on the adventure of two brothers (both controllable) in a magical land.
Desert Child
With your faithful hoverbike you must leave the Earth and reach the Red Planet to participate in the most important race in the universe: the Grand Prix. Original name, right? The game is a kind of racing shooter, but not only. Between one race and another you can do many things, like visiting shops and…fixing light bulbs.
Doors: Paradox
Ready to venture into hand-crafted 3D dioramas? In this relaxing adventure/puzzle game, you’ll set out to find hidden objects and clues to solve fun puzzles in the hopes of bringing order to chaos (and chaos to order).
Quake
Among the most anticipated Prime Gaming games of December is certainly Quake – an authentic, updated and visually enhanced version of the original dark fantasy first-person shooter that inspired countless retro-style FPS games today.
Ross Riddle 2: Werewolf Shadow
The inhabitants of the Fairy Kingdom are busy preparing for the birthday party of the king. What they don’t know is that someone is plotting against the peace of the Kingdom. As Rose Riddle, the unwitting princess of the kingdom and her best detective, players will travel from place to place collecting the evidence needed to solve the crime and stop the impending disaster before it’s too late.
Spinch
Spinch combines old school platforming with modern command anticipation. An unmistakable art style (curated by Jesse Jacobs, legend of indie comics) and the stunning rhythms of Thesis Sahib, its avant-garde hip-hop composer. Sprint, dodge, climb, swim and jump through six worlds to face the six enigmatic bosses who are holding your family hostage. Transcend the material realm and assume your true form: become Spinch!
The Amazing American Circus
Take command of a dilapidated circus in the early 19th century and travel through American folklore of those years, between crime and social inequality. Well… maybe not just those years. However, players will be able to fight their way through giants of the circus industry, such as circus impresarios Ringling Bros., PT Barnum and Buffalo Bill. Build your troupe, manage your circus camp, explore America and wow your audience to become the greatest entertainment mogul the world has ever known.
