Fans will have to wait until 2026 to see the single-seater Audi devour the asphalt in Formula 1but they can already appreciate the version virtual of the single-seater in F1 22. EA Sports e Codemasters they have in fact recreated the concept car presented at the end of August by Audi down to the smallest detail.
Audi is already in Formula 1, but in the virtual one
EA Sports wanted to bring the new single-seater, which will debut on runway officially in 2026, thanks to the partnership with the Swiss team Sauber.
Henrik Wenders, Head of the Audi Brand, explains: “It is not at all obvious to be the protagonists of the official Formula 1 video game more than three years before the debut in the race. Our concept impressed from the first moment thanks to the attractive design and the characteristic color combination of sports activities of the brandd. I am convinced that it will win many fans even in the virtual world”.
The game includes all current teams and drivers, but now also a car that really comes from the future. You can find the Audi concept in the level “Podium Pass Series 4 VIP”available from today December 7th.
Paul Jeal, F1 Senior Franchise Director at Codemasters, explains: “The announcement of Audi’s entry into the F1 starting grid has generated tremendous interest. We are excited to make available to gamers of EA Sports F1 22 the splendid Audi livery, allowing the House of the four rings to compete for the virtual world title well before the debut in the race”.
The official debut will in fact take place in 2026with the partnership with Sauber. The first dynamic tests are planned for 2025. In its own factory in Neuburg an der Donau lat the house of the four rings it is building the power unit for 2026, when the rules will provide for greater electrification.
