Fire Emblem Engage is shown in a new gameplay trailer on the Japanese channel of Nintendo. Here are all the details about it
Nintendo’s Japanese YouTube account recently posted a new one trailer di gameplay di Fire Emblem Engage. The latter includes a detailed look at a wide variety of personages and enemies, as well as a long list of weapons and environments of the game. Unfortunately, the video doesn’t include an English translation on YouTube, making it impossible to understand all the details without knowing Japanese, but it’s still possible to get a feel for the variety of villain characters. Let’s see all the details about it in the next few lines of this article.
Fire Emblem Engage: Important new gameplay details emerge from the trailer
As emerges from the new trailers on gameplay emerged on the net, perpetuating the classic and solid turn-based combat system typical of the series, Fire Emblem Engage will allow you to customize each troop and character in battle. It will then be possible to select the desired weapons for each character and which weapon to use for each attack on the battlefield.
As for the opponents, you will be able to face a wide variety of characters with different skills and weapons. Some enemies have aranged weapon which allows them to deal damage within their range. The movement system of the game will allow you to see the range of the enemy before making your move. It would also seem that using the ability of thering you can change the a character class (watch out though: this is just ours guess). Furthermore, by improving the skills and abilities of the characters, it will be possible to make your team stronger while facing particularly difficult enemies and bosses. The trailer also shows off a few different regions and locations in the game, but the focus remains on the characters and the control you’ll have over them. Finally, the combat system will be quite flexible to adapt to your style of play.
Fire Emblem Engage will debut exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023. It remains to be seen whether this new trailer will receive a full English (and Italian) release in the future or not.
