If you have an Android device you can play Zakhaka video game inspired by the protests in Iran for Mahsa Believe, the girl killed by the Iranian morality police for not wearing the headscarf correctly. The game is available for free on the Google Play Store and will allow you to take part in the revolt of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) to overthrow the regime.
What is Zahak: the video game about the protests in Iran for Mahsa Amini
Players will be able to kill government officials with hair blows. In the form of bosses, however, there are real members of the Iranian government. For example, one can fight theAyatollah Ahmad Jannati, a conservative and vocally anti-LGBTQI+ Iranian politician. The ultimate goal of the game, however, is to take out the supreme leader of Iran: Ali Khamenei. By killing him, it is possible to definitively overthrow the regime in Tehran and win the game.
Zahak was developed by Swedenmark Studios, a software house of which little or nothing is known. The plot of the video game, however simple, chronologically follows the real events, starting with the killing of Mahsa Amini at the first protests in Iran in September 2022. The official description of the game reads:
“After the murder of Mahsa Amini, the lionesses of the village rise up to avenge his blood. In this Iranian game, the player can take off his turban and hit the mullahs. Lionesses can also kill mullahs with their hair.”
