When he’s not busy trying to avoid incurring the wrath of those with gender dysphoria, Hogwarts Legacy seeks to be talked about as a title among the biggest hype bearers of 2023: and a rumor could answer questions about its duration, “fixed” on 35 ore. Day one is now just under a month away. Therefore, leaks can happen, such as that of the official artbook which suggested several details. We therefore know a little more about the history and gameplay of the open world RPG, but also how long we will have to stay within the fortified walls of the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The summary of the leak can be found on Reddit, but in principle aspiring sorcerers can expect 35 hours of “study” in Hogwarts Legacy. Naturally, the ritual distinction is not lacking in this case either: we are talking about thirty-five hours for those trying to unravel only the main story. For all the Marauders intent on exploring every corner of the related Map, the secondary quests intend to put their Time-Turners to the test. It is in fact no less than doublethus bringing the count to a substantial seventy. Not bad, for a hangout of the stuttering baboon band.
Of course it is still an open world title. The hype mainly comes from this, and from the expectations of seeing quite a bit of content, between main and optional. If the leak visible above is reliable, there’s really nothing to complain about. The game is expected on the “most important” platforms, namely PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC, the February 10th. For “last-gen” consoles (compulsory quotation marks), i.e. Xbox One and PS4, the wait will last longer, until April 4th. As bringing up the rear we have Nintendo Switch, for which there is no mention of it before July 25th. But, you know, even Harry himself had to wait for the letter….
