Today Bridgestone announced the renewal of its partnership with Lamborghini, developing the first All-Terrain Run-Flat tire for the Supercar Huracan dirt road. The brand therefore becomes the exclusive partner for the supply of tires to the first super sports car in the world equipped with V10 engine and all-wheel drive.
Bridgestone Dueler All-Terrain AT002 for Lamborghini Huracán Off-Road
The new Bridgestone Dueler All-Terrain AT002 tyre, specifically designed for the unique engineering requirements of the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, guarantees drivers maximum performance, both on and off road. The polymers, design and technologies of the tire were in fact developed to improve the all-terrain capabilities of the Huracán Sterrato.
Specifically, Bridgestone Dueler All-Terrain AT002 is the first high-end tire in the world for Supercars equipped with Run-Flat (RFT). It is a technology that allows motorists to continue drive safely even in the event of a puncture. In these conditions, the car can continue for a maximum of 80 km at a speed of 80 km/h with a pressure of 0 bar.
Bridgestone Dueler All-Terrain AT002 was born in the Technical Center (TCE) of Castel Romano, near Rome, to then be produced in Bridgestone’s European plants.
