The LEGO Group has created the perfect high-altitude vacation spot with the LEGO Ideas Log Cabin set
To make the return from the ski week sweeter, the LEGO Group has launched the brand new set LEGO Ideas – Also, ideal for mountain and brick enthusiasts. Designed and made by an Italian LEGO fan, Andrea Lattanzio, this set is the perfect place to be to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The model takes inspiration from log cabins with the iconic “A” shape and is spread over two floors, with the upper bedroom, living room and kitchen on the ground floor.
The brand new LEGO Ideas “Caita” set arrives
On the outside, the set features a porch with steps which lead to the outdoor part, where there is a woodshed and intricate trees that house a nice squirrel. They are also included quattro minifigure LEGOwho can take part in many activities: gather by the fireplace, play the acoustic guitar or take a canoe trip.
Speaking of his project, Andrea, a great fan of LEGO, said:
I was leafing through a book dedicated to the strangest houses around the world and I discovered the A-Frame: the wooden cabin that recalls the “A” shape. It was love at first sight! I started with a sketch, so that I had a clear vision of what I should be doing and then I built my project in about 10 days.
To celebrate the launch, the LEGO Group has created an authentic cabin relaxation experience, where it is possible to immerse yourself in nature thanks to the LEGO Baita cam and find out what happens in the woods. Who knows, maybe some squirrels might pop in too!
Price and availability
The new LEGO Ideas Cabin set will be available to LEGO VIP members from 1 February 2023, while for everyone from 4 February 2023 in the LEGO Stores and on the official website at price of 179.99 €. From 1 May 2023 however, the product will also be available in the Toys Centers.
