The filming of the last season of de The brilliant friend 4Rai and HBO series, based on the novel Story of the lost child by Elena Ferrante. More intense final chapter of drama and contradictions of living; the vicissitudes and transformations of the twentieth century, retraced through the eyes of Elena and Lila.
In the last few hours, Fandango has spread the first photos on the huge canvas of the web exclusive to the new set. New protagonist faces appear on the screen, giving a grown meaning of maturity and candor. Ample space for experienced faces and more intense dramas, starring Alba Rohrwacher (in the role of Elena) and Irene Maiorino (in the role of Lila).
The first official photo of the fourth and final season of THE BRILLIANT FRIEND has been unveiled.

My Brilliant 4: Adulthood
As for the characters in the novel; even in the last chapter of the series The brilliant friend 4 personalities grow up and become adults. Particularity well underlined in the last shot published directly from the set. A photo that seems to have been taken in passing and in a hurry so as not to disturb anyone; but effective in revealing a small preview of the next episodes: once again together Elena (Alba Rohrwacher) and Lila (Irene Maiorino) under a more formal and serious guise. Facing each other with their hands touching Lila’s big bump.
To enter adulthood in the new episodes of My Brilliant Friend 4, it will also be up to Nino Sarratore. The masculine bone of contention; he will be played by Fabrizio Gifuni.
The subject and the screenplays were signed by Elena Ferrante, Francesco Piccolo, Laura Paolucci and Saverio Costanzo, while the direction was handled by Laura Bispuri. Executive producers Saverio Costanzo, Paolo Sorrentino, Jennifer Schuur, Elena Recchia and Guido De Laurentiis.
No official release dates have been revealed at the moment. According to some unofficial sources, the debut could be marked at the end of 2023 and beginning of 2024.
