Microsoft announces several new features for Viva Engage
Hybrid working and the uncertain economic climate are leading many companies to rethink how distributed teams work. More than half (51%) of employees in the Work Trend Index says relationships outside their work group are waning. It therefore becomes important to create a corporate community and focus on workplace culture.
For this reason, Microsoft launched Microsoft Viva Engage, an evolution of the Yammer app Communities in Microsoft Teams. After launching last year, all Yammer will now become Viva Engage, so Microsoft focuses on new features that drive business community engagement.
In Viva Engage there are therefore several new features, such as Leadership Corner, which offers a virtual space for managers who can thus connect with their collaborators. In Microsoft’s intent, this is a way to create discussions and nurture communities. For example, there will be a new event style in Viva Engage, called “Ask Me Anything (AMA) events”. An interactive way to manage a “townhall” with all employees.
The function for campaigns allows you to easily launch key initiatives that support business goals. Which will be automatically introduced in Leadership Corner and will have a visual Goal Tracker to help you reach them.
Answers in Viva Automatically match employee questions with answers and internal company experts. Instead, Advanced Analytics includes metrics for personal analytics, audience analytics, campaign analytics, and global responses.
