Via press release, Blizzard has released a new behind-the-scenes trailer for Diablo IV, in which we can take a look at the birth and development of the world of Sanctuary: let’s find out all the details together
Diablo IV is a title with a double meaning: on the one hand it is one of the most awaited sequels by all gamers born and raised in the late 90s, when the first chapter of the franchise depopulated on PC and, even more so, in 2000 with the second chapter. On the other hand, it will almost certainly be the son of a development that is far too troubled to allow it to fully and to the fullest extent of its potential. Blizzard recently unveiled the early access and Open Beta dates, and we really hope that the game will be able to do justice to a brand that has really given so much (and which, on its side, has immense potential).
In the midst of marketing ahead of the release scheduled for June 2, Blizzard has released a new behind-the-scenes video via press release to show fans the birth of the world of Sanctuary. The trailer highlights a wide range of features and inspirations behind the design that make Sanctuary a world worth exploring. Members of the Diablo IV development team discuss how players can immerse themselves in an immersive experience and how they created the darker, more expansive version of Sanctuary in the series. You can find it below.
Diablo IV: We take a look behind the scenes of the Sanctuary with the new trailer
Diablo IV’s art style is dark and macabre, in many ways reminiscent of the creepy atmosphere of Diablo II. There are five unique zones, each with their own dark environments and matching themed dungeons. An artistic goal was to make sure that every scene looked like a painting, so every color and texture was meticulously chosen to achieve the somber design result.
Each monster within Diablo IV’s version of Sanctuary has been carefully crafted to be the darkest, most horrifying version of itself ever seen. Players will work their way through the world by scything down all sorts of creatures, old and new, as well as interacting with other typical beasts that would be naturally encountered in each area. C’è un sacca da fare a Sanctuary, from fighting hordes of enemies and protecting refuge towns, to completing side-quests and conquering expeditions. Players will be able to travel seamlessly between zones, discovering in depth all the content that the explorable world has to offer.
