In the past hour the rapper 50 Cent (whose real name is Curtis Jackson) has published an ambiguous and cryptic post on Twitter which, according to many, could be the confirmation of his presence in GTA 6the highly anticipated new chapter in the Grand Theft Auto saga.
In the tweet, 50 Cent wrote that he was working on “something bigger than POWER”, the TV series produced by the rapper. So far nothing special, except that it is attached to the tweet an image from GTA: Vice City, iconic chapter of the franchise released in 2002. The artist has said that he will reveal all the details in the future. Right away he tweets in question.
The post obviously made fans go crazy, as anticipation for Grand Theft Auto 6 is literally skyrocketing. In fact, in September it will be 10 years since the release of the last game in the saga, namely GTA 5, published by Rockstar Games way back in 2013.
Will 50 Cent be in GTA 6? What does the post mean?
According to many, the post would represent a confirmation of the fact that 50 Cent will be present in the video game. After all, the videogame saga has always had a very strong link with the world of music, especially with the hip-hop universe.
But why did 50 Cent post an image of GTA Vice City if the game dates back more than 20 years?
In reality, the connection makes perfect sense since, according to rumors on the net, GTA 6 will be set right in Vice Citya fictitious city that in the universe of the franchise takes up the real city of Miami. We also know that Grand Theft Auto 6 will feature two characters, one male and one female.
Assuming that there is a clear connection between the video game and the rapper, it remains to be understood how and in what form 50 Cent will be present in the game. Will there be only his music or will it be one of the characters? In fact, we recall that last year a free DLC for GTA Online – the multiplayer extension of GTA 5 – introduced the character of Dr. Dre.
