Incoming NVIDIA Game Ready Drivers for Atomic Heart and THE FINALS. Update brings DLSS 3, Reflex, NVIDIA RTXGI, and AI-powered RTX Video Super Resolution
NVIDIA today announces the arrival of a new GeForce Game Ready driver that brings NVIDIA DLSS 3 to Atomic Heart and THE FINALS (available in beta March 7). This new driver also introduces support for RTX Video Super Resolution (VSR) technology, which uses artificial intelligence. Thus it manages to improve the quality of any video streamed through Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers installed on devices with GeForce RTX 30 and 40 series GPUs.

Atomic Heart launched on February 21st! GeForce users immediately experienced class-leading performance with the game’s support for NVIDIA DLSS 3, NVIDIA DLSS 2 e NVIDIA Reflex. Thanks to the new GeForce RTX 4090 cards, DLSS 3 enabled and 4K at 184 FPS, gaming performance increases by 90% and 80% with an RTX 4080 at 146 FPS. With a GeForce RTX 4070 Ti at 1440p and DLSS 3 performance increases by 62%, running with maximum settings at over 160 FPS. Finally, DLSS 3 can also help improve the gaming experience in CPU-bound scenarios as well.
THE FINALS Beta
THE FINALS from Embark Studios is a free-to-play shooter title set in a highly destructive world, making every playthrough unique. The highly anticipated game is also packed with NVIDIA technologies, including:
- NVIDIA Reflex: Reflex reduces system latency by up to 55%, making gameplay even more responsive, allowing in-game actions to unfold faster. In competitive shooters like THE FINALS, Reflex gives players a competitive edge that can be the difference between winning and losing.
- NVIDIA DLSS: technology based on artificial intelligence that allows you to maximize performance.
- NVIDIA RTXGI: Used to accurately calculate light and shadow when buildings are blown up and walls collapse in a game. RTXGI uses hardware-accelerated ray tracing to instantly produce richer, more realistic global illumination. Players can enable RTXGI’s Dynamic Mode to experience light bouncing realistically through the environment, reacting to destruction commands, and interacting with smoke and debris. RTX Video Super Resolution is an AI upscaler that allows GeForce owners to watch video on 1440p or 4K display with AI-enhanced clarity. GeForce RTX 30 and 40 series GPUs will process low-resolution video played on Chrome or Edge browsers to improve video quality. Combining the power of NVIDIA Tensor Cores with Artificial Intelligence image processing techniques, VSR intelligently sharpens and enhances image features and edges. RTX VSR will work on most videos played in a browser. Whether it’s a streaming session on Twitch or YouTube or content from streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+ or Hulu.
