Interestingly, no reference is made to the game’s release on Nintendo Switch in the tweet. This suggests that the date will not be changed, however it cannot be excluded that this version will also suffer further delays.
We recall that Hogwarts Legacy is a game set in the world of Harry Potter, although the events narrated take place about 100 years before the adventures of the novels by J.K.Rowling. Initially the title was supposed to be released simultaneously for all platforms, but already in December Avalanche Software had announced that the game would be released on February 11 on PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC and on March 4 on PS4 and Xbox One. The new date delays the release on older-gen consoles by a month.
In the meantime, the title did very well, obtaining excellent feedback from the public and critics. In less than a month, it became the best-selling Warner Bros. game at launch.
