Through a press release, Bandai Namco has announced the arrival of Ni no Kuni II: The Destiny of a Kingdom – Prince’s Edition on Xbox Game Pass, let’s find out all the details together
After the rumored and then confirmed arrival on Nintendo Switch (now two years ago, how old we are), Ni no Kuni II has returned to being talked about five years after its first release on PC and PlayStation 4. Via press release in fact, print Bandai Namco Europe has announced the arrival of Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom – Prince’s Edition on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC. The game is also available through the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
Five years after its first release, the acclaimed Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom – Prince’s Edition enters the world of Microsoft. Developed by LEVEL-5, the game is a collaboration between two Studio Ghibli legends: Yoshiyuki Momomse, who worked on character designs, and world-renowned music composer Joe Hisaishi. Ni no Kuni II tells the story of Evan Pettwhisker, whose promised throne of Ding Dong Dell was lost in a coup. Young Evan and his friends set out on a journey to found a new kingdom.

For the occasion, Bandai Namco has also released a new trailer, which you can find right above. You will be able to discover Evan’s story in full version and play the two DLCs included in the Prince’s Edition: The Lair of the Lost Lord and The Legendary Book of the Wizard. Both DLCs contain new missions, as well as new items, equipment and one dungeon each: labyrinth and Pandora Colosseum.
