After so much silence that fueled the mystery, two screenshots of the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, the highly anticipated Avatar video game that will arrive next year for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game is developed by Massive Entertainment for Ubisoft, two companies that had already collaborated on the Tom Clancy’s The Division franchise.
What the images from Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora tell us
The images tell us a lot, denying the widespread rumors that the title would have been a third-person game. Rumors that had been fueled precisely by the fact that The Division was a title in third person. From the first screenshot (you can find them both below) we clearly see that the gameplay is in first person.
Significant is the fact that the images come from ScriptLeaksR6, a well-known leaker considered a reliable source of information regarding the Ubisoft world. At the moment we don’t know much else about the game, given that the only official trailer released is a cinematic released a year ago. It is therefore difficult to understand from the clip what the gaming experience will be like.
The release of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has not yet been made official, but this is expected by the end of fiscal year 2023, i.e. by March 31, 2024. The game will be released for PC and new-gen consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S).
Meanwhile, in another news story today, leaker ScriptLeaksR6 revealed that Ubisoft+ is coming to Xbox consoles next month.
