OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite it’s a damn photogenic smartphone.
Which isn’t to say it’s perfect for aspiring photographers, but it looks especially good in company renders and various product shots.
We tell you why the version Pastel Lime, that thrilled us during the presentation, live it didn’t give us the same electric shock once in our hands.
It probably would have done better with a matte shell. And instead, the latest OnePlus smartphone comes with a glossy back cover which, surprisingly, does not seem to retain fingerprints.
However, this is a small mole, the defect of a smartphone which, all in all, defends itself well from the competition.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite review
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite arrives on the market today at a price of 329 €. It therefore goes to position right there, in the mid-range of the market, one of the most popular and above all one of the most competitive.
Does it have what it takes to give the competition a hard time?
Design
8.3 mm thick and 195 grams in weight: So far so good.
However, OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite tries to stand out with a new color, the Pastel Lime, which certainly does not go unnoticed. In these days of use in the field anyone who has crossed paths with us has commented on the color of this smartphone which yes, perhaps it is not for everyone but it certainly helps it to stand out from the rest of the market. Don’t worry: if you are traditional types you can always bet on Chromatic Greyvery elegant in its classic being.

The back also houses the camera module. No steps though. The photo sensors – one 108 MP and one 2 MP – they are single, set directly into the body and characterized by a slightly raised profile; beside the indispensable LED flash.
The profile houses the volume rocker, the on / off key – which also acts as a fingerprint reader -, the dual SIM tray (or SIM + microSD), the USB-C connector for charging and the 3.5mm.
Also available is the double speaker which offers a very high volume although the audio tends to distort a bit.
Display
On the front we find the 6.72-inch display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, with minimal bezels and a small break at the top, center, to make room for the 16 MP front camera.
The screen, with resolution FullHD+supports a maximum resolution of 120 Hz. And yes, it is adaptive, which means that the system sets itself the most suitable one, opted for 30, 48, 50, 60, 90 or 120 Hz. However, nothing prevents you from setting a fixed refresh rate at 60 Hz.
The overall yield is really good, with the possibility to choose the color mode (Vivid or Natural) and the temperature; there is no shortage of dark mode and the possibility of using the Visual comfort function, which turns on warm tones to reduce fatigue caused by blue light.
The brightness is also good, which allows you to use it serenely even in the sun.
OnePlus Nord Ce 3 Lite review: performance
The beating heart of this OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite it’s the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G, with Adreno 619 GPU, 128GB of internal memory and 8GB of RAM. The latter can be extended and even doubled thanks to a software feature that allows you to “steal” storage space.
In everyday life the terminal performs quite well. We’ve only seen it hesitate during configuration and when starting a few games, but nothing more: with email, social networks, browsers and any other application we have had no problems.
The operating system is the OxygenOS 13.1 based on your Android 13. This means that you can count on all the features typical of OnePlus personalization, from Zen Mode to Game Focus Mode passing through the smart sidebar and the children’s space.
Finally, the battery surprises. We arrived at 21:30 with still 25% battery and 5h20 of screen. On balance you can practically cover two days with average use.
Camera
As anticipated, OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite if presented with a 108 MP Samsung HM6 main sensoran aperture of F/1.75 and electronic stabilization.
All in all performs quite wellwith sharp shots, a good amount of detail and the ability to take home satisfying photos even in low light conditions.
We also have the 3x loseless zoom, obviously digital, which allows you to obtain good results even from a distance.

And the videos? You take home some pretty good footage at 1080p and 30fps. Too bad for the absence of 60 fps.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite review: conclusions
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite it is a good smartphone at an overall adequate price. Perhaps below the 300 euro threshold it would have given even more trouble to the competition but overall it offers excellent build quality, a nice display, excellent autonomy and a camera that does its duty. To be evaluated if you are looking for a good mid-range device.
