Fujifilm Italia, inclined to affirm the central role of photography for its cultural, historical and artistic value, supporting initiatives, events and participatory moments in which a large audience can come into contact with the expressive power of the image, confirms itself as sponsor of the XI edition of the European Photographic Festival
Fujifilm Italia will participate in the 11th edition of the European Photographic Festivalan event that aims to promote author photography and expressive language, through articulated visual itineraries, open to the most varied expressive experiences, with a dense exhibition program: from historical photography to author reportage, from art to creative research up to the documentation of the territory.

The Festival, conceived and curated by Afi – Stock Photo Italian, placed under the high patronage of the European Commission, offers exhibitions, seminars, workshops, screenings, portfolio readings, book presentations and competitions. Starting from 18 March and until 6 May 2023 it will involve four Lombard municipalities, namely Busto Arsizio, Castellanza, Castiglione Olona, Legnano. The presence of FUJIFILM will not be limited to a simple sponsorship, the Company will participate with content that will capture the attention of visitors:

The prints of the exhibition “AKHAT TERRAMADRE” were made on FUJICOLOR Crystal Archive Digital Paper Type DPII Matte silver halide photographic paper, with digital exposure and TYPE RA4 chemical development process. Fujicolor Crystal Archive Digital Paper Type DPII Matte is a photographic paper of the Original Photo Paper family, created by FUJIFILM and is one of the finest professional silver halide papers, used for gallery prints and created especially for professionals. FUJIFILM’s Original Photo Paper professional photo paper enhances and best enhances the stylistic and technical characteristics of each image, ensuring its durability over time and in the memory, through an excellent visual rendering.
Ahkát – Mother Earth
Ahkát: according to the ancient Sami religion they are “the mothers” divinities of nature, nature which – at the extreme ends of the world – dominates everything Magic and reality Spirituality and tradition Mother Earth of a people without borders Mother Earth for a people of migrants. In national preview, the third chapter of a trilogy with which the photographer wanted to tell the people who live in the Arctic. On display is an excerpt from a larger corpus that narrates the Sami, a native European people divided by the borders of four states. Set in the county of Finnmark, in Norway, the project tells of an ancient and modern culture that has its greatest strength in its bond with nature and in the strong dialogue with it. In the past victims of nationalisms, today at risk due to climate change and a green economy policy that does not always take into account the rights of the natives, these people exist and resist and have much to teach to those who are willing and able to listen.

Photographic outing with INSTAX by FUJIFILM in Legnano, under the guidance of Renzo Riboldazzi, professor of the architecture and urban studies department of the Milan Polytechnic, and an AFI photographer to learn about the history and events of some of the city’s symbolic places. Participants, who will have some INSTAX at their disposal, will be invited to take images which will then be integrated into an urban mosaic on public display from 29 April to 6 May 2023 at the Castello di Legnano.
