The highly anticipated release date of Alan Wake 2, the second chapter of the Remedy series, was presented and announced during the last PlayStation Showcase. Let’s find out all the details
Announced at the end of 2021 (and whose release date we know since yesterday), Alan Wake 2 is an eagerly awaited game that has been on the minds of many fans of the first chapter for a while. The Survival Horror genre has flourished in recent years and with Remedy Entertainment preparing to enter this space with the highly anticipated sequel to Alan Wake, it’s no surprise that gamers are more than excited. At the recent PlayStation Showcase, Alan Wake 2 made its appearance with a trailer showing the gameplay.
While not particularly fleshed out, the trailer offers a few glimpses of the fight and shows off what appears to be a new playable character. Sequel story hints are also providedwhile, as always for Remedy, from a visual point of view the game makes an excellent impression: let’s find out together:

Alan Wake 2 will be released only in digital format: Remedy has stated that it has no intention of releasing physical versions of the game. For several reasons. First of all the fact that, as Remedy says, a large number of people have switched to digital-only consoles. Remedy also says that releasing Alan Wake 2 as a digital-only game will allow it to be sold to the mainstream $60 on consoles, while on PC it will be priced at $50. Of course, this is just the standard edition. One is also planned $80 Deluxe Edition ($70 on PC)which will include an Expansion Pass (for the game’s two paid post-launch expansions) and several in-game cosmetics.
