The SABRENT Quad NVMe SSD to PCIe 4.0 x16 card (EC-P4BF) is the perfect complement to desktops requiring additional high-performance storage. You can add one, two, three, or four NVMe SSDs with a single physical PCIe x16 slot adapter. A fork setting in BIOS is required.
Only M.2 keyed SSDs are supported, but older and newer generation SSDs in 2230/2242/2260/2280 form factors will run up to PCIe 4.0 speeds. The adapter is also backward compatible with PCIe 3.0/2.0 slots. Drives can be accessed individually. Or put them into a RAID using Intel VROC, AMD Ryzen NVMe RAID, UEFI RAID, or software-based RAID using Windows Storage Spaces when the respective criteria are met.

High-performance drives and systems can require world-class cooling, and this adapter has you covered. It is constructed of aluminum to ensure physical stability and better heat dissipation. It also includes thermal padding for all four SSD drives, to keep the cooler in place. Active cooling for high performance environments is optional with a switchable fan.
The adapter is plug-and-play with driverless operation. Rear-mounted LEDs quickly display drive status for a quick visual update. To access more than one drive, the host must support PCIe forking (split lanes), so you should check your motherboard manual in advance.

With Quad NVMe SSD to PCIe 4.0 x16 (EC-P4BF) you can add up to four high-performance NVMe SSDs to a system with a single adapter in a physical x16 PCIe slot. System requires PCIe lane splitting to add more than one SSD with the full 16 lanes required for 3 or 4 drives.
