The famous Pirates of the Caribbean franchise will have its sixth new film and the producer does not rule out the presence of Johnny Depp
Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the most successful franchises of the 2000s in terms of collections, based on one of the family attractions of the Walt Disney amusement parks. A franchise that has become a cult for many factors put together, such as, for example, its costumes, its soundtrack and the very exciting adventures in each chapter. One of the determining factors of his success is undoubtedly the protagonist Johnny Depp: Captain Jack Sparrow has conquered the public all over the world with his movements, his clumsiness and his cunning. Johnny Depp showed all his talent in a light franchise, ad hoc designing a character without which the films would not have been so successful.
Pirates of the Caribbean: possible return of Johnny Depp
And in this regard, the President of Disney Studio Motion Picture Production, Sean Bailey, has confirmed that the sixth film of the franchise is in the pipeline from 2020 and has not ruled out the presence of Johnny Depp. According to Bailey this new film will be exciting and with a story that adds something new compared to previous films. Apparently, no official deal with Johnny Depp exists yet, but the President has shown an openness upon his return.
On the other hand, it is difficult to imagine a new chapter of the Pirates of the Caribbean without Captain Jack Sparrow and the talent of his interpreter, so the hope is that he can return to play that role even through a cameo. The success of this franchise is linked to Johnny Depp, so his presence can be a good glue for a possible new cast and new stories.
