Release date announced The Palace, the eagerly awaited new film directed by director, Roman Polanski. After the curated direction of the last film, The officer and the spy (awarded and acclaimed at the Venice Film Festival in 2019); four years later, director Polanski is back behind the camera, venturing into a more mystical, black and daring project. Expected in theaters starting next September 28th; boasts the collaboration on the screenplay of Jerzy Skolimowski and Ewa Piaskowska,; together with the soundtrack curated by Alexandre Desplat.
With leading actors of excellence such as Oliver Masucci, Fanny Ardant, John Cleese, Joaquim De Almeida, Luke BarbareschiMilan Peschel, Bronwyn James, Fortunato Cerlino, Michelle Shapa e Mickey Rourke.

The Palace set entirely in Switzerland, among the snowy valleys; develops its story on New Year’s Eve in 1999. Inside a well-known luxury hotel (The Palace), preparations are underway for the most magical night of all; hosting big names and illustrious members of the most influential elite class ever. Among charms, vices and extravagance; the stories of individual characters directed under the hand of Roman Polanski; they will give life to a real absurd comedy, dirty and black.
With an Italy, Switzerland, Poland and France co-production, co-produced by Èliseo entertainment with Rai Cinema CAB Productions, Lucky BOB, RP Productions. The Palace is produced by Luca Barbareschi, Wojciech Gostomczyk and Jean-Louis Porchet. Before its release in cinemas on September 28, The Palace could be included among the great premieres of the Venice Film Festival (August 30-September 9).
